We have answered some of our most commonly asked questions below:
How long does it take to complete a renovation?
An average bathroom takes approx 2-3 weeks. Custom made shower screens are the last item to be installed, this generally takes place 7-10 days after fit off.
For a larger renovation or job that requires the knocking out of walls or intricate tiling, you can expect this time frame to be a little longer.
What is included in my quote?
- Access to our showroom and dedicated showroom staff to help with any queries you have, anytime.
- Demolition of existing room and rubbish removal
- A full time supervisor who will be your point of contact throughout the renovation
- Labour for all trades who work in together for a smoothly run renovation
- All materials such as glue, grout, timber, A/C sheets etc
- Partial removal of floor for stepless shower base unless otherwise stated on quote
- Waterproofing/membrane to Australian standards and current code
- Patch up of any plaster or cornice
- Installation of all fittings ie vanity, tapware, accessories
- Caulking
- Plumbing and safety switch check to ensure your bathroom complies with VBA requirements
- Essential electrical work
Are there any hidden costs?
No, we pride ourselves on being upfront with costs from the very beginning. You will know exactly where you are sitting with your budget once your selections have been finalised and before our trades begin work. At times there are circumstances we are unable to foresee until work begins such as asbestos or termite damage, these matters will be addressed by your supervisor during the process.
